Fiksu has added the ability to track user behavior on the Apple Watch to its mobile marketing platform.
Because Apple Watch apps depend on a parent iPhone app, it’s possible to track activity on the Watch using Fiksu’s pre-existing iOS SDK. This can be achieved by a single line of code to the iPhone app and tagging any Watch app events – including launches of the app, in-app purchases or registrations – they are interested in tracking.
It’s also possible to create Apple Watch-specific audience segments, in order to retarget users of the Watch app on their iPhones.
“This is an exciting time for marketers looking to discover the potential of the Apple Watch, and we are fortunate to be able to offer our clients event tracking right from the start,” said Micah Adler, CEO and founder of Fiksu. “While marketers wait with great anticipation to see what the Apple Watch has in store as an advertising platform, they can experience early benefits from the data and insights our event tracking offers.”
