Google has launched its AdWords Express App in all countries where the platform is already available on desktop, enabling businesses to manage and create ads directly from mobile devices.
The AdWords platform is aimed primarily at small business owners, and hopes to give them the tools needed to run successful marketing campaigns using Google’s infrastructure.
The app’s release reflects the increasing use that smartphones and tablets are seeing from small businesses and other enterprise users. It will be available in 20 countries, including Brazil, India, Mexico, Japan and the UK, on both Android and iOS.
“When you advertise your business through AdWords Express, you can reach potential customers right when they’re searching for the product or service that you sell,” said Abhishek Poddar, product manager for Google AdWords Express. “Your top stats for the month are displayed in the Google My Business app, and you can switch over to AdWords Express to see more detail or edit the ad to promote your next big event.”
