Huawei Premieres Smartwatch and TalkBand Wearables

Chinese manufacturer Huawai has unveiled its first Android Wear device, the Huawei Watch. While the functionality and software of the 1.4 inch circular display device are relatively unremarkable, the design has made it a stand-out, with interchangeable leather, fabric and metal straps, and over 40 pre-installed graphical watch faces that echo luxury timepieces.

The watch includes a heart rate monitor, six-axis acceleromater and four GB of internal storage. The firm also revealed its TalkBand B2, a revamped version of its activity tracker that includes a removable section that can act as a Bluetooth headset.

Multi-channel mobile marktering firm PushTech has launched its Mobile Marketing Cloud, a programmatic multi-channel solution that provides real-time delivery of mobile notifications, alerts, reminders and marketing campaigns.

It enables marketers to create, launch, monitor and optimise campaigns across multiple mobile channels and deploy the right message to consumers at the right time and place. It leverages PushTech’s Intelligent Multi-channel Optimisation Engine to combine data-based ‘smart targeting’ with rules-based programmatic campaign management.
