Talks of a new acquisition by Twitter have been circulating after CFO Anthony Noto accidentally tweeted a message regarding plans for a deal with an unnamed company on Monday.
Bieber invested $1.1m (£700,000) during the company’s second round of funding in November 2013, and promoted the app to his 57.1m Twitter followers. Other celebrities including Ariana Grande and Floyd Mayweather are noted users of the app.
